Worlds Smallest Baby in Good Condition Despite Concerns

Rumaisa is currently the world's smallest infant. A baby that has gone viral just three months after being born has barely been nursed back to health by the skilled medical staff at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. The baby weighs a little more than 240 grams, giving it the record for the smallest premature baby not to croak.

The early delivery was advised by the doctors due to the mothers high blood pressure. Thanks to to the effective decision making and skill of the medical team, not only did the mother survive, but a set of twins to raise her blood pressure even more.

"The twins' good health is remarkable considering that they were born after just 25 weeks and 6 days in the womb" Jonathan Muraskas stated in an interview. Why he didn't round up to 26 weeks, we don't know.

According to Muraskas, twenty-five weeks is close to the minimum time a baby can be born with the potential of surviving. Fortunately for Rumaisa, the staff at the Loyola University managed to accelerate her development using steroids. She may never be eligible for professional sports ever again, but at least she will live to see another day.
