You would never expect the National Football League to struggle after building the most popular business in sports. However, after years of decreasing sales on merchandise and tickets, as well as star players leaving the league, the NFL has announced a merger with their nemesis.

On Wednesday, the NFL will be officially integrate all teams from the AFL into their league. This decision comes after both commissioners decided that their competing businesses are bound to destroy each other.

"The fans are cutting our funds being split between both associations." Said one coach. We aren't sure which coach said this considering we made it up for the sake of having it in the article. "With teams from both leagues holding games at competing times, it is impossible to pack the stands in some cities."

The move by both organizations might have come just in time as even some salaries are on the verge of being cut for the overpaid players. This newer league is expected to resolve problems for both organizations. The first Super Bowl championship will be held later this season as a symbol of unity between each association.
