Reginald Aubrey Fessenden, a name no one knows because his technology is going to become a dying industry one day, has invented a small box that can receive signals transporting sound from a giant metal tower.

According to sources, Reginald transmitted signals to a nearby ship on Christmas Eve during a concert. The sailors report that they were able to hear music playing from the tiny box Fessenden put on their boats. Not long afterwards, the shipmen for the United Fruit Company came ashore hearing the same music being played on land.

The unbelievable myth has just become reality. Man has officially discovered a way to send sound without the use of wires. Furthermore, Fessenden has announced that he already has a name for this device. He is going to call it a Radio.

"I can just see it now" said Fessenden, "an avenue for performers to transmit their voices over long distances." Already, people are envisioning potential for this tiny device. Business men are already discussing the possibility of putting on vocally performed plays with stage actors.

Will this technology ever apply to the popularly growing rotary phone? "Likely not" said Fessenden. "However, I do expect this device to replace that boring entertainment piece called the news paper."

It seems as if technology has reached its greatest achievement to date.
